The injection molding machine and system were failing and repairs were becoming impossible because system components were obsolete. The cost of repairs was rising and the system experienced lengthy downtimes due to the unavailability of replacement parts.
CodeBright re-engineered the machine and made it serviceable through the use of new components and other hardware. Our team completely rebuilt the system, replaced the computer with a modern PLC, and replaced the old 6-inch monochrome display with a color-rich touchscreen 18-inch monitor.
